As Peter suggested, considering the crop factor is a good idea. On the
istDS I'm using a hood from a Takumar 123mm lens on the A50, and use the
same hood on the 77mm. For the 24mm lens a much deeper hood than normal
can be used - right now I'm using a hood from a 50mm lens, but

Been playing around with various IR filters this afternoon and found
that I'm getting the best results with a far 'stronger' filter than the

Digital with an *istDS. I'm admittedly quite surprised that the camera's
built-in IR filter does let anything through at wavelengths above 820

Bracketing and time delay are in the function menu, right on top. As is
the ISO setting and the white balance. Plus - and it's only a rumor mind
you - the next firmware upgrade will provide a small pic of a dancing
hootchy cootchie girl ...

Can't see any mention of the IR mark in the SMC lens manual. The FA lens
manuals say:

Don't you feel any need to vary your autofocus point? I use the
selective autofocus and move the point to where I want it. For example,
when shooting street photography and anticipating verticals, I move it
to the far right center area, so it will correspond to eye position

They'll try and assure you the scanners are OK for film
slower than ISO 800, but you don't have to let them scan it.
Of course this may well lead to you spending an extra 30
