I have no idea about the identity of the plant.
All I know is that it had been "transplanted" from a forest into one
of our pots by my wife.
It looks happy after about a year! Never seen a flower (all leaves) yet.

A sad scene Dan. Jersey diners are a great heritage for New Jersey and its
sad to see their numbers lessen. We have a few here in Michigan but you
don't see many diners like them around the country & believe me I've looked
for them on my trips.
