Hello John. the Tamron 28-75 f2.8 is a work horse. It is brutally
sharp. Worked well on my K-20D and now the K-5 K-3.
I also find it diminutive in size and light weight too.
I bought it brand new for $ 419 from BH when good pre-owened copies
were selling for $ 300.

I did notice the slight tilt when I was processing but I decided to leave it.
Most of the buildings in Kensington are old (by Toronto standards) and the
neighbourhood is populated by non-conformists, punks, neo-hippies and the like.
Some of buildings are actually a bit tilted.

Frank, I *love* this image and the inclusion of the person in the
frame really makes it more than it would have been without him. Love
the colors and the mix of light, the odd round reflections in the
alleyway shadows. Just a lot for the eye to move around with.

Everyone might think that this suggestion is ludicrous, but I think
that making a square or vertical crop out of this image that makes the
floor shadow more prominent really works. The right hand edge of the
cropped image would eliminate the extreme right side of the hat and
the 2nd hand (just).
That is a cat with ~attitude~!

We had a -5C frost this morning (second in a row). I think the spiders got a
bit sick of the cold weather and gave up on their webs halfway through. The
frost made them look quite pretty.

listening to a podcast. She called to me said I should bring my
camera to the pool.
She had placed a flowery table cloth on one of the picnic tables on
the pool patio, and a small Praying Mantis had flown on to one of the
flowers.
Quite interesting.
