You may have confused the price of the Contax NX with
the Contax N1.
BH lists the Contax NX for $649.95 and the Pentax MZ-S for

Well, it seems I did not read the price part of the review careful

I believe the BG-10 is indeed metal, but I'll have to check.
I can tell you that when it is attached to the camera,
it's difficult to tell where the camera ends and the grip begins.
Sound so good, I guess there is no slack between the camera
and the grip, like between

May I suggest you look at the Bogen 3275 Mini-gear head. It is a
great
head when very precise adjustments have to be made, as in macro
photography.
It has 3 axis movement all controlled by 3 knobs, each knob
has a very

You can use it both ways, but if you use it as a ballhead, then you
have
to loosen and tighten two knobs instead of one, and you only get

Yes. Once the camera is lock into head mount via the removable plate,
it is

I like my 029 because it's very, very solid (I use it with 144 legs).
Those are called 055 now, so that is the same kind of tripod I am

I would like to ask if there is anybody on the list who has any
experience of the Manfrotto 3-way head Junior Magnesium ?
The Manfrotto code is 460MG and the Bogen code is 3437.
It seems to be a good head, but I am a bit doubtful how practical
it is, usually 3-way heads have large grips that
