I bought a 52 mm Pentax Ghostless UV filter off eBay for $20 including
shipping to Israel. What I received was a very clean 49 mm filter with
one little strange defect. It rattles inside its barrel. That is, it is
not fixed in it.
Immediately after I paid, the seller left me a positive

ABSOLUTELY!
I am puzzled as it is the very first time in my practice that I received
an item rather different than it was originally described.
What's rather amusing here is
the 52 for a 49 and THEN asking for a refund!
Your seller sounds very honest and willing to do right.

Hi!
I would say the seller was confused by the box and did not intend to
mislead. I would wait for the refund and then give the seller an
*excellent* feedback. Making a mistake is easy but not all sellers
are willing to make it right. Some of the worst sellers might even

Wait until you receive the refund. Once you have your refund, leave positive

I have a trick for that: mix it with a couple of stupid questions, like

I can agree with that one. Is insurance included in the shipping price? is ok, but
are the tiny springs in that Mamiya 'M' adapter OK?, is something only some one who is
knowledgable about the particular piece of equipment would know to ask about.

Boris,
asking a question would have been a good idea, as the descrition says
UV and the box has a sticker skylight. It's often good looking very
attentively to the pictures.
On the other hand, judging by the reflections it really seems to be a
ghostless filter, AFAIK there are no other ones
