You can add 300mm f/4 as I have one. It is manual but is very sharp.

I'd ask for a 'neo-M series' of prime lenses. The Limiteds are nice but
expensive; the likes of the FA*24/2 are bulky and expensive, and not
everyone needs such wide apertures. Some of these already exist, but
how about a series that went something like:
20mm f/4
24mm f/2.8
28mm f/2.8
35mm f/2.8

Replace that FA* 28-70/2.8 with an FA* (II?) 24-90/2.8.
A 24-90/2.8 would have been a perfect companion to the coming 18/2

I'd like to add "ruggedised build" to the list, including better sealing and less
plastic. I personally don't care too much about size & weight as long as it
doesn't reach F5 proportions, at which point you're be
I'd like a couple of pro-quality zoom:

You could always look into getting one of the professional
steadicam systems used for motion picture filming.
I'm sure they're quite inexpensive ;-P

The spot metering in the PZ-1p seems pretty good.

Don't some of the newer cameras offer spot metering as

Steve and Collin,
There is a guy out there with a gyro rig, $2K+ I think.
I stumbled upon the web site some time ago. It discusses his efforts to take high
quality pictures from places like the top of bridges...places that move, sway, and
vibrate!

I just want a digital back for my MXs. I'd settle for one for the MZ5n

while being used and will take an external battery pack (or AC adapter).

I want an all metal, mechanical, MF limited camera to match the limited

Topping my wish list is for the stock market to go back up again so I can
cash in my McDonald's stocks to buy more Pentax equipment.
But seriously, an OTF capability on a Pentax AF body would be nice. An
MZS-n (already) or PZ-1p SE maybe.

Ok...
- FA 645 55/2.8 (f/2 would be nice, but I won't hold my breath)
- FA 100/2 (defocus control would be neat)
- 66R (an 6x6 rangefinder with ttl flash metering, ability to use a
short tele to get a decent head shot and leaf shutters.)
I agree about the 645 zoom focal lengths being a bit odd.
A long time since last time but here we go again:
* Most of all I want an FA 1,4X-L converter dedicated to the FA* super telephotos. I
really want AF with my long lens when using a converter - Pleas!
* I'm now using the FA645 45/2.8, FA645 75/2.8 and FA645 120/4 Macro for my Pentax
