I've had no problems getting it to recover .pef files in the past Mark. I though the same as you when I first ran the program. Out of desperation I had it search for .nef (D1H/D1x) files. It recovered the files, I then changed the extension to .pef. Works like a charm. All exif data retained. I

Well there was such a law in effect during WWII. Except for war emergency powers, and taxation, the federal government here can not pass laws nationwide. The have to use a threat of cutting off federal funding to extort the states to pass state laws like they did with daylight savings time.
