to the lens axis would seem to be almost impossible in those cheap plastic
cartridges. And the 25mm x 25mm square size seems a bit weird; you don't
really have the film area to be able to afford to crop down to a rectangular
format like you do with 6 x 6 medium format ;-)

so the 50/2.0 isn't necessarily better. Of course, an actual macro lens

Many photo backpacks are made with airline travel specifically in mind. My

Yes on both counts. Meant to compete with the Canon D-60, not the EOS-1D.

Anyone else able to read Wayne Gretsky's (it was him, right?) lips when
