Then try to clean the log, add on the "Extra command line options" "-d
all=debug" and post the log. I need to see what the mDNS discovery
process sees.

What are the criteria for a track being added to the "recently rated"
playlist? The first creation of the playlist happened fine, in that I
changed a track's rating and the playlist appeared. However, the
playlist has not updated since then. So I'm wondering:

If you use windows, then you can download the alpha3 release from the
initial post but then get the latest python code from the github repo -
as I made some changes that are not

This should allow you to send sound from LMS to your DirecTV device (and
presumably then to your TV/amp).
It will not go the opposite way.

I have just discovered that a community firmware exists. I went looking
for a summary of what it offers above the last official firmware, but I
came up short. Where can I find a summary?

I have a new ATT DirecTV Stream service in my house. It comes with nice
Google integration which surprised me. One feature is to be able to
cast sound from the TV to Google speakers. Interestingly, the
CastBridge plugin that I have been using now for sometime with my LMS
server also shows up
I just had AcounticBrainz add mood and BPM metadata to my files in hopes
of using that information for mixes. It appears I should have looked at
the forums a bit closer before doing that. Apparently, Essentia/Musly is
the way to go (Roland0 has a similar project), even for this long-time

Yeah, that's looking good. What about the web UI? Is TIDAL available
there? What about the server.log? Any hint in there?
Feel free to upload it to

Hi everyone !
I've been using a Squeezebox/LMS for about 10 years now, for the past 2
yrs together with a DENON AVR-X1500H. At some stage I decided to install
the Denon AVVP/AVR control plugin and it worked fine right away. I very

Thank you again for your attention to this matter, Fred
PS: I have kinda got around this problem by "Airplaying"
So far I'm impressed... It's playing a good mix from most starting
points, and no odd behaviour to report so far. What I like about the
analysis approach is that it seems to pull in a more broad range of
alternative tracks than a simple grouping determined by a website like

I think that airplay feature it uses is related in some way to jmDNS.
Could this explain why it fails to play?

I think like apostropes which have both "straight" and cuved (opening
and closing) variations, you can use the curved variation in a
filename.
So you have " vs ... and variations on that theme. I can't be too
sure which is actually being used in all cases though, as looking at

Odd. I cannot create a filename with a double quote on Windows. How do
you create such a file?

With apologies for being a bit slow. I have a long standing LMS system,

That's great - thanks... I got an additional 60 or so tracks added after
those changes (turns out another issue was double quotes - so having 12"
in the name for example was also causing exlcusions prior to this).
Additionally, I see you've also got the check for track length in there
- which
