I have been running LMS for some years. Recently I looked into
replacing it with an Echo/Amazon setup. I now have this working too but
it is nowhere near as robust as LMS + Squeeze Ctrl and the Web
interface. I am very interested in Media Server. I would very much
like a concise installation

Im trying to connect alexa to my server but it/she doesn't find it, she
tells my certificate is invalid or expired which is not the case. I
checked and the certificate expires January 31, 2020.
I was not sure if i had to use the port in my url so I tried with and

The positions are flattened to a single level of numbers. So if you ask
to list favorites they will all be called out with a preceding number
without dots. You can use that number or you can use the name, which may
be even easier.
Is there a way to play a nested favourite by position? I see this was

have just tried play favourite 11 dot 1 with no success.

I've added some additional spoken error-reporting within the skill to
address connectivity issues. Somebody using duckdns with nginx was
throwing the odd '502 Bad Gateway' and if that occurs it will now be

Ive just re-enabled the skill and most things appear to be working but
I cannot get a stream to my echo working. I keep getting the response
