(4 in my home) and my squeezebox touch (1 connected to my living room AV

Why don't you try PicorePlayer instead. I think you'll find it easier
and Michael recommends it as well.

Never looked here before but if you look at the page shown here on your
Spotify account. You should see that Spotty is an approved application.

XP in itself is an issue :-).
I think there have been failure reports about Spotty on XP before. And
I'm not going to investigate them, as XP really should no longer be in use.

I had problems with spotty.exe not working on Windows 10. Previous
suggested solutions didn't work. After a day or so it is now working
perfectly:
Uninstalled LMS.
Manually deleted all remaining folders related to LMS or squeezebox.
Reinstalled server.
Installed Spotty plugin,
Now works brillia

Gerrelt's instructions for LMS and Squeezelite on
OK, I just did it as recommended within this forum. I Installed
piCorePlayer, LMS and Spotty on a PI 3 - and now everything works fine.
Spotty saved my beloved 4 Squeezboxes.
I just have donated to Michael for Spotty and also to people developing
piCorePlayer.

I get spotty.exe has "stopped working" when I try to add Spotify user
name and password. I must have done something wrong during setup.
