here.
Using both the plugins together just means that ratings set from
TrackStat get saved to iTunes by iTunesUpdate. The action against
iTunes is identical to if you save the rating in iTunesUpdate itself
though.
FYI, on
Are you using the iTunes Update plugin or some other third party
plugins ?
It feels strange that TrackStat should affect iTunes because it doesn't
communicate with iTunes at all.

I do use the iTunesupdate plugin also(been using it for a LONG time
now), but have never had an issue with shutting down/restarting my mac.
I disabled the trackstat plugin and restarted Squeezecenter and then I
tried to shutdown the mac and I had no issues whatsoever. Hence I
narrowed the issue

I disabled iTunesupdate and tried to shutdown my mac and that worked
perfectly. So something is going on between iTunesupdate Trackstat
that prevents both of them from running concurrently.
Do you have any suggestions on what I can do have both running?

I suspect it is Trackstat Playlist causing the lag. I have noticed it
too, and the lag gets longer as the rating playlists get bigger. I have
worked around it by regularly pruning the lists so they stay fairly
small.

Whenever I browse my music collection using trackstat, I get duplicate
entries for some songs. The entries are linked becuase they both point
to the same exact file and if I change the rating of one, the other is
changed as well. This has happened for as long as I can remember, and

1. Goto the TrackStat settings page and enter the Backup/Restore sub
section
2. Make sure you have entered a full path to a backup file
3. Use the Backup from file button

So I'm going to delete the database and do a rescan.

Ok, I went and removed the version I had and installed the latest
version from the download page, now everything works, there are a few
bugs in the stats, but I can live with that (i.e. some tracks seem to
have lost there count).

wondering if there exist a list of magic words to the Web interface
in the Song info page. In the wiki there are three words listed

particular menu. I actually hadn't paid any attention to where and what

Unfortunately I think I need to do a major rewrite of the whole
TrackStat web interface to solve this, so it won't happen in the near
future.
The problem is that the standard web components provided by
SqueezeCenter to make it possible for plugin pages to work with all
skins hides the control

How many songs and minutes pr song must be played for the album count
to be counted once?

Play count on an album is the average play count of the tracks on the
album.
For a track to be counted as played it needs to be played at least 50%
through the song (with the default settings).
So for an album to be counted once at least half of the songs on the
album needs to be played once.
I've been looking everywhere, but cannot find any parameter called
Statistic group in the Statistics menu.
I assume it should be in the TrackStat or CustomBrowse plugin and that
it's in one of the Settings Sections?
Could you please spell it out for me?
