CoverFlow is an undocumented feature of iPhoneOS. Officially, Apple
prohibits the use of undocumented features, I will give it a try in a
future version, but if they disallow it, it will take some time since
there are more urgent to-dos than re-implementing Cover Flow.

If disconnect the SB's from the network the bombardment stops - I can
then re-connect them and everything works fine again.
That's not iPeng.
iPeng is NOT sending Bonjour messages but uses the Squeezebox server
discovery at port 3483.

You can currently only create a current playlist by adding tracks. You
can't save it. To Save a playlist you will have to use the Web
Interface.
iPeng 1.1 or 1.2 will add that feature.

Have you tried fllushing the cache (Settings-Flush Cache)?
No artwork usually means the Albums list has not been completely
retrieved from the server.
If you've got a large database, you may also have to wait a few
minutes, until the whole database is loaded.

issue.
Are you sure the last server rescan was completed correctly?
Maybe you could try to do a rescan, of there are still problems you may
want to try to disable your virus scanner.

Weired free disk space changes on Mac are quite common and can usually
be attributed to the Application Installer, Spotlight and TimeMachine.
But you are right, after restarting SC I sometimes get a free Gigabyte
of additional free memory, too.
