Hi do you have a scsi dock adapter for the PB if so boot in scsi mount the hdd on the desktop Mac. Drag the installer onto one of the partitions then boot as normal from the floppy system on the other partition. once booted do a clean install and see if that works. DO NOT INSTALL FROM THE DESKTOP
