Well actually... The problem isnt with MSN messanger. A Type 2 error is an out of RAM error. That¹s probably because your force feeding MacOS 9 to a poor 3400 with only 48mb of RAM. I have 128mb in my 3400 and even with that I won't go any higher than 8.6. If it was my 3400 I would go to a lowe

IMHO, partitioning with a bunch of different OSes is a pain in the butt. This is what I would do: - Boot to the OS 9.1 CD. Perform a clean install of the OS. - Your OS 8.1 system will be deactivated and renamed to Previous System. Don't delete it! - Set everything up and use it with OS 9.
