Hi Martin,
The editing of tempo changes is usually done right within the tempo ruler.
Unfortunately, the rulers are not yet accessible. That might not mean that it's
entirely impossible to shift tempo events. Normally, one would click within the
ruler to select events or a range of events. An i
It's the Apple aluminum wired keyboard. Just google that, and a ton of results
will come back.

Hey man. The wired keyboard comes with 2 USB ports, which would totally house
your iLok and 1 more unpowered device. Hope that helps.

Other option is to get an external keyboard LOL. Mine comes with 2 USB
ports on it, so you could plug your iLok into that. Or a USB hub. I
got one for £10, with 10 ports, and it was all powered.
Oh yeah, firewire hard drive LOL.

Aaah, this presents me with a dilemma: I've only got two USB ports on
this thing, despite the fact that it costed £2000; I get three on my
£150 PC netbook but that's by the by. Basically, I need one port for
my external hard drive with all my audio files on, and one port for my
Ilock device which I
As we've stated several times throughout the life of the list, it's a good idea
to get a keyboard with a numpad on it. Your pro tools experience will be
greatly enhanced. There are tons of things you can't do without it.
Hi David,
If you want to use PT by all means GET AN EXTENDED KEYBOARD.

Yes Command 1 on the numpad will open the transport window for you no
matter what window you are in.
make sure after interacting with the midi cluster the conductor button
is d selected.
As far as Automating you can find this by interacting with your
prefered auto track.
I think its the button righ
Hi:
The best way to set the initial tempo on a session is to go to the transport
view, then uncheck the "use conductor track" field, and then enter your
tempo in the tempo field.

Haha, unfortunately was recording my friend, using a backing track, and the
lovely site gave me the exact tempo, to 3 decimal places! :P
Anyways, I'm tired, and actually, as soon as I'd fired off the email, I thought
about the number pad dot.
By the way, just so it's on archive, I solved my pi
Just use the decimal point on numpad. Works fine.

Hey Chris,
Are you using a full external numpad? If so, the numpad dot found just
to the right of numpad zero will be your decimal. If the numpad is
imbedded into a laptop keyboard, F/N-. would be the keystroke. Either
way it's worth you finding this key, since it's also used in the
quickest ways
Hiya mate, what if you need a decimal in there?

Hey Chris. You need to enter the values of the tempo using the numbpad and
press enter on the numpad itself for the changes to take effect. Hope this
helps.
