I have thought for some time (and mentioned it to TT at one of the Paris
shows) that formatting disks Under SMSQ/E is unreliable. At one point it
used to hang the system (as demonstrated to TT at the same show)
I used to keep a standard QL and set of DD drives just in order to be
able to format

Good grief! We were in the Buffalo (NY, USA) area just two weeks ago for the NA
show. It was neither cold nor hot. InternetWeek newsletter says today that
they're under 20" of snow.

Thanks a lot. There won't be a kind of "recovery", I have to live with it
