Where does the incomming and outgoing mail actually get filed.
Each user has a Maildir subdirectory with tmp,cur,new subdirectories under
it.
It appears that I am able to receive messages, but they are not showing up
in Maildir.
I was able to send/recieve mail using the Mailbox file. I could

Since you stated you chose to use Maildir/ delivery I would guess that you
edited defaultdelivery in your qmail rc file, or that you understand what

Courier-imap works great for me and is the only imap daemon to work with any
reliability.
I highly doubt that the imap package that comes with Mandrake works with
/Maildir/ probably just works with /var/spool/mail/$USER

Actually I have tried that, but unfortunatly messenger is being sporadic
as to when it decides to suddenly clear the entire directory. After that
happed, i tried to replicate it in messenger (with a few emails i had sent
to myself in Maildir/cur), but it wasnt acting like it had before
I asked kmail's maintainer if kmail has maildir support, or if they
are planning on supporting maildir in the future. The brief reply
was:
"no to both questions".
Does anybody know the reason? We know the reason in case of pine...

Where do I set up the '/Maildir/' directory for these addresses?
The logs should show you what delivery is being made for those addresses,
what do they show? Are they delivering
in the queue
as far as I remember. Before setting default delivery to '/Maildir/'
format they did appear in the '~/alias' directory.
Well, the log files would be definitive on this matter. You could
turn off the forwarding for a while and see what happens.

I am having a really odd problem; qmail keeps deleting my Maildir/cur
directory. None of my users have ever had this problem, and I only have
this problem on my non-root account. What could be going on? I am using
Pine, and I am not sure if that could be the problem or not... frankly I
