I've been dealing with a stage wound on my right ishum for 10 weeks.
It's been oozing clear stuff and bleeding on and off. I know bleeding is a good
sign for healing.
I called today different Hospital wound care center's and they all say THEY
except my insurance but the Doctor
I try and eat good protein foods like chicken, turkey, egg, etc. Pus protein bars and or protein drinks, pre-made ones like muscle milk. I can't stand the powder drinks. But I've used the powder in cookies. Pretty good.

Powder Whey Protein (flavored) and milk tastes like a milk shake and is
extremely healthy. Smoking and Liquor is not good. They can hinder the
healing process greatly.

So, all this talk about wounds and having to stay in bed got me to thinking.
Everybody's talked about how to keep our minds busy, etc. I haven't really
read anything about what to eat to help hurry along the healing process. Years
ago, I remember being told that we do most of our healing
I eat a yogurt a day, a boost a day and my meals are high concentration of high
protein, stake, chicken, fish and eggs.

the wound is closed to stop using the cream and
just use the patch. The cream will actually dry the wound too much after it's
