Hi Russ,
Standard master cylinder. You need conversion brackets to fit the callipers and
also bigger discs with 15” wheels as well as different flexi pipes. They all
come in the XR2 kit From Hispec .

Hi Martin,
Not sure about the areas but the Cosworth calipers are certainly bigger than
the original XR2 ones were and worked ok. The Hispec 4 pots are smaller
diameter but spread over a larger pad area to give more even pressure.

That's an interesting MG conversion. Will your Escort parts be available or are

Pretty sure they were 36k or 3 years but the quality of the belts has improved
greatly since the 80s and 90s. However working on the basis that if the belt

I'll do a compression test at the weekend. Makes sense for the short time it

in my opinion for a kit that probably hasn't been sold for quite a few years.
Time will tell I guess.

Hi Eddie, Black carbon wrap would be nice. I'm planning on being at Stoneleigh
on the Sunday. But not a problem if they need to be sent later than that.
Cheers

which has never been fitted. I'll try to contact him and find out if it's for
sale.

Hi Mark,
I have option 1. This gives a good ride height and predictable handling.
Match this with a set of quality tyres (Toyo R888 in my case) and you will have
go kart like handling. I would not recommend lowering the car or you may have
grounding problems.

A tip for getting the correct pressures no matter what size tyres or weight

Set your pressures to what you think is correct. Take the car for a brisk
run and recheck the pressures. If they have gone up by more than 2 psi, they
are too soft. If they haven't gone up at all, they are too ha

I meant the Willwood brake kit is no longer available. It wasn't a stocked
item, so the discount wouldn't have applied anyway.
It would be worth checking if the club discount is still valid but the guy I
spoke to (Andy Jobson) didn't know about it.
