I managed to update the SBR firmware to 7.5. Therefore I've setup a SBS
7.5 on my notebook and connected the SBR to it. After the update I
switched the connection back to my SBS 7.4. So far no compatibility
issues detected.

I'm having trouble setting my preset buttons on my Radio.
When I set them on my Booms it was quite simple to do through the web
interface but I just cannot find the page any more, can someone point me
in the right direction.
Thanks

Hi,
Some thoughts:
- Why is the alarm clock function implemented as client-server,
requiring a 7x24 computer to be running to signal an alarm? (Whether or
not one should have a server running 7x24 is an irrelevant question - it
shouldn't be required for an alarm

Add Random Songs to Favourites.
On the Radio, browse to Favourites Random Songs, press and hold a
preset button.
Excellent, that one works. Thanks for your help.

This was the big mistake IMO. The Radio has a computer inside. All alarm

I think my squeezebox radio has become faulty - when it starts, it will
stay up for 2 or 3 minutes (sometimes more .. kinda random) then the
screen will start to flicker and then the SB radio will become
unresponsive and eventually turns itself off with no possibility to
restart unless you unplug
Thanks for response.
I tried the hard reset a few times and managed to reinstall the
firmware a few times as well but the problem is still there... after a
few minutes (sometimes a good 8-10 minutes) it will crash again with the
screen going all fuzzy.

That's rather lame, IMO. I understand support the idea of proof of

Any help to get Odeo working again.

Thanks for the reply.
Good that we agree on poor alarm function design.
I stand by my comments on the rest.
The underfunded QA function supports my comment. Management should fix
the funding issue.
Citing Sony support is the old We're bad, but so is someone else

I think the problem is that they wanted to use the same alarm logic for

This plugin helped resolve some (but not all) of the sync issues I
experienced after adding the SB Radio to my network (a

It does seem to be the crux of the problem with squeezeplay.
I have a related question to this. I've just spent some time sorting out
the config of the 3 SBR's in our household. They all link to a single
mysb.com account now (I had a nightmare with 3 x mysb.com accounts -
lesson learnt!), and there are 3 different lastfm accounts, with each

Thank you very much for the info. Having you pointing that out, I
could see it now. Logitech did a great job bending that sensor window
in.
