Is "Smart Connect"known as anything else? I can't finst any mention of
it in my router management menus Then again, there's no specic
mention of WiFi6 - just 802.11ax.
Having said everything worked last night - it then all stopped! I'll

Two possible things to try, the first of which is easy to forget:
- a hard power recycle, including removing the Radio battery, if one is
fitted. Solves all sorts of things!
- more drastic, a factory re-set.
It just feels to me that the problem Radio is not responding to attempts
to re-config
I've had "foot rot" in a couple of older Radios - feet leaving black

- but, when doing firmware update, why would you also do a factory

I've been getting this a lot recently, on one of my 2 setups (the larger

think it's anything to do with the SBs, and everything to do with the
router, especially on the wifi side (ie, anything ethernet is not

I've always found the Presets - whether in LMS or MySB - a tad
flaky One thing that the Presets Editor plugin makes easy is to
save a copy of what you actually have, either by copy/paste to a text

Just thought I'd keep this thread live. Had the same problem today
for the very first time with one of the Radios (SB/LMS; White). It had a
battery which is fully charged: it usually runs off the mains anyway. A
Power Cycle fixed the issue. Apart from selecting presets and turning
the volu
to latest software (and checked it could still connect
via Wireless).
Still no DHCP IP Address via LAN.
Odd. Can't quite think what I can fiddle with next.

Just added an SB Radio to one of my set-ups - and I love it. Neat
package, great sound, trouble-free set up (well, so far!), really good
price (here in France anyway).
A few quirks (which I'm going to raise in another thread), but I think
it's a great thing.
