I think bluegaspode has more insights into to the coding.
But read his really good analyzis of the failure the most odd thing is
the disconnect from your server at 00:32 and that it does not

Btw you seems to be able to use SSH if you can not change the lease
Hello,
Yeah it surely overlaps, I'll try pausing the backup from 6.30 to 8.00
(already paused the download manager for that timeframe).
I'm quite happy it worked this morning, I'll check the log tonight to
see the difference between today and yesterday. But this reminds me the
good times of 7.4.2
Bckup 6:30 alarm 7.00 hmm is it possible that the backup is using the
WHS 100% ? How long does it take to backup ?

Hello,
SBS might sleep overnight I don't know but my server doesn't, this
morning the alarm went well, all I did was powering off the radio and
on again and set the alarm at 7:02:00 instead of 7:00:00 ! I was awake
this morning via my playlist sound, which was ok.
I can confirm my server is up 24
Oh - what a coincidence. The WOL-bug-report got attached a possible
patch tonight.

Bluegaspode have you seen this:

"Radio doesn't wake up SBS via WOL early enough to get the server up in

If Tartifless server hibernates as you suspects correctly configured
WOL should take care of it, once this bug is fixed (which seems t
Tartifless, loads of stuff in your log, also loads of errors - each of
them could be a cause for alarm failures.
Lets start with the Radio-Log:

Hello here are the 2 logs:

What is strange is that for example on 18.05.2010 at 7:00:11 the backup
alarm fires without stating before that it is not connected or anything

We can see in the server log that it received message to play th

You can alw
could you provide the server logs (along with radio-logs of the same
alarm) as well ?
Remember to activate alarm debug-logging (there is a setting for that
somewhere at the server-settings).
Maybe by comparing both we can see something useful ?

1x SB-Controller+Receiver (Duet),
Hello,
It is not the same problem at all, as my server does not go to sleep,
it is on 24h/7d.
It worked during a period without problems and triggered my playlist, I
have been happy for almost 1 month but since last firmware upgrade I
have the backup alarm every morning, it is even worse then bef
Don't know what is happening there.
At alarm time your server doesn't send an alarm event. Maybe you should
also consult your server log - you can activate debug-log for alarm
somewhere in the advanced-server-settings (accessible via Web-UI(.
What is strange that at 6:52 the radio disconnected fr
