and started streaming extensively radio for the first time. Since then

connection. I have to reboot again to connect and then it loses it after
a few minutes again. I thought it was maybe my access point, but it

Seems ever since the upgrade, when I tune in Detroit FM station 105.1
(Magic FM) I hear a scratchy sound, mostly just when the disc jockeys
are talking. Can some of you please tune this station in and tell me if

Second case is if I shut down everything, inc nas, and reboot but
without web connection. Then Software update propose me Cancel or Help,
where help try to connect to mysb.com...which fail for the obvious
reason, there is no web. Hitting Cancel do however his job very well. I
agree ;-)
The more
I upgraded radio's firmware to 7.5.3-r9283 from the first day; and,
like I said, now and then it prompts me with that upgrade (downgrade,
in fact). But it's ease to keep pressed the 'home'' button for upgrade
to dissappear :-).
Anyway, I contacted Synology and that is the response:
Squeezebox
The latest source code release version of 7.5.3 is only about a week
old. They can't provide Synology beta SBS versions, only full release
production versions.
So I'd expect a few days to a few weeks for Synology to play catch up
on every new SBS release. Every update creates the same queries

anybody else suffering wireless dropping in and out since the upgrade ?
Used to be rock solid but since the upgrade I keep losing wireless
connectivity and sometimes its taking a full reboot to reconnect.
Wireless points haven't been touched its just the firmware upgrade.

I've just about had it with my Radio. Its my third device, originally
bought a SB3 a few years ago, added a Squeezebox Boom then bought a
radio after that.
For the last few firmware patches my radio has exhibited a daily (or
more frequent) disconnect problem when it loses the connection to the

see new firmware. Guess some socket
With the new firmware can anyone else get the Patchs to work, the alarm
window one will not load for me. Now I am back to the crappy std one.

Apparently, this is not an issue with the firmware upgrade for the
Radio. The firmware for the Boom was upgraded within the last day or so
also and there is a bit of a bug in that
