Hey Peter, I dbl checked and measured 85.6cm. That’s with the stock Alex DM18 rims, and the Kenda Qwik Tendril 38 tires pumped to 45lb. I noticed Riv’s geo chart for the 58 Sam lists stand over at 86.3. That must be with the max tire width of 44 or 45. Glad to provide more details - let me know.

Well, I don't think that's necessarily the case--I think there are plenty of folks who wouldn't cotton to the newer generations of Rivendells, even after a spin or two on one. While *I *think they offer a type of ride that almost anyone would enjoy and benefit from, the new Rivs don't fit

LeRoy, I don't have a knackered B68, nor have I tried rehanging a saddle. But I have got a custom saddle from Obsidian Monarch. He used an old Brooks frame and rehung it with new leather and did custom leather work on it. It's great! Definitely thicker leather than on a regular Brooks, so
