Yes, exciting. I tested them out at Riv the other day, and I like them a lot.
Very nice under the bar positioning as thumbshifters.

You should call it “Golden Boy!”
I think two things:
1. Your Clem’s mustard is nicer than the other mustards somehow.

if it were me, i would see if i could find a used wheelset at the same

I'd look for some old five arm 94 BCD MTB cranks. If they're 94/58 BCD,
just ignore the 58 bolt circle and fit the 46/30 on the 94 bolt circle.
I've picked up a couple of these cranksets cheap off fleabay. For instance,

Yes the play is normal. I don't know the mechanics of all this, but I've heard
stories of people adjusting it too tight and breaking stuff in there. You want
it snug enough that the frame itself isn't actually moving around, but not
hurting your hand to close it.

Herse cranks are a thing of beauty. I would personally go 107mm cranks if the
chainrings clear and you won’t have heel rub issues. Since you’re going to
utilize big-big combo at times, it makes sense to move the big chainring
inboard a bit.

Those wheels look just fine, one thing you might want to consider is tubeless

It used to be that cheap wheels were machine built, and that the cheaper

machine built wheels are better now? I've not bought machine-built wheels
