Welcome to the world of bike mechanics 藺. I never want to hear you say you

would rather pay someone to do so.

Congratulations, way to go.
Now, quick before you forget how frustrating that was, order yourself a nice
collapsible free standing work stand.
It should last you a lifetime, and will prove well worth the $$. Honest, a
decade from now you will be so glad you did.

Next time I'm up there I'll get out a compass and do a quick feasibility
study. It's right off the road. There's such a cool variety of surfaces
in there, but not likely to displace Yosemite firefall as a
photographers destination.

These have less than 400 miles on them but they are pretty dirty on the
sides. I originally had them on much wider Ritchey Zeta rims (MAN that was
a fast wheelset!) and they measured pretty close to 38. Today, I tried them
on A23 rims and they barely made the 35mm mark so I'm looking to let

I think the 50s are too small for 43-44mm tires. Even if they fit within
the fender openings, the part where the stays meet the fenders will without
a doubt rub against the side of the tire when the front wheel is whipped to
and fro. I used to have P45s and you couldn't fit 38s on them for

Getting back to Adam's question - which kinda got lost in tubeless arguments

See Ken, this is where I just can't get into tubeless. I've owned a couple
bikes that cake to me that way, which was dandy because they were already
seated and pumped up; but then I needed sealant, a tool to unscrew the valve to
add sealant, and tire plugs. Ok so what do I take as tire repair
I *love* the rainbow top tube of the Atlantis. I also really think the Atlantis
creamy green is hard to beat; and what a great name fora bike. It was great fun
reading how nicely it rides and how satisfied you feel with your new bike.

Hello group,
As the title suggests, I'm debating between these two fender sizes. The Big
Ben's are mounted on A23 rims so their true width is closer to 43-44mm.
Perks of the 50s would be aesthetics and probably little to no
modifications to get them to fit on the BMC monster cross frame.
I am about to close on a house if I don't get furloughed first which I will
know about by tomorrow EOD.
Either way, I will be taking a pay cut. So, please buy this Brooks B67s. I
think it is the aged version with black rails and hammered copper rivets.
How is $85 net to me shipped CONUS?
Carl, thanks for the John Prine reference. He was such a talented

I agree with Eric and with most of the comments in response about the value
of the local bags. It's great that the market meets so many needs. What I
have issue with is the contradiction between wanting to widen the scope of
