Brett, I had a caliper-braked Homer that came with the R559 caliper brakes that I eventually swapped for the Paul Racers. The R559's were great brakes, but flexy due to the long arms - I think some people would consider this beneficial added modulation, and some would consider it annoying. You

hugh, i did the same exact thing when choosing my canti sam size. roman has the same-ish pbh as me and rides a 55 sam, so i test rode the 55 demo (and ive ridden his 55 w drops before), but it just felt small. i knew i wanted the 58 fit, & i'm glad i trusted my gut, esp. with sweep back bars.
