I still wear Tevas. Based on the suggestions (Bedrocks and Chacos so far),
I'd opt for the Chacos with no toe loop. I generally wear socks with

Mostly I wear caps from the Walz Velo/City collection. They are wool (for
the most part anyway) which you'd think would be hot hear in Hawaii (and on

and a larger saddlesack through very heavy rain for about an hour.Nothing
inside my bags got wet. I do carry some plastic shopping bags that can be

I got mine used and it looks like a Hilo bike. That is to say, a bit
rusty and such. It's a great ride though -
I haven't had a knee done but I did have a hip replaced last year and

That's my setup on the Hunq as well. I find I'm most comfortable at around
45 on our roads here in Honolulu. I'll be honest though, I don't pay much
attention, especially when I'm just riding in town. I generally pump 'em up
to 55 and forget to do anything about it till they are noticeably soft.

Here's what he said about that bike:
There were three main difficulties; the handling of the bike (none at
all), the lack of strength - I went through ten rear rims, four front rims,
four handlebars
I just checked the Wayback machine and the bottle was $4 in July, 2002.
Even at $72 that's 18 times the price in just 11 years. Anyone want to buy
my Quickbeam, another item now unavailable, for $28,800? I paid more than
the original $1600 for mine as they had no complete builds when I got mine
so

I'll add a third way, sometimes I tie on a Wald large basket. It can hold a
