Hmm... Look at that, people still have tanks laying around. I dusted off

A TD is completely viable. Just make sure it turns really well.
IMO, TD's are best played in longer range sniper rolls as compared to a
knife fight. If your limiting yourself to a TD for easer construction.
There's no reason to limit yourself to just TD's. You can build a turreted
tank with
Build some pontoons for the thing and you'll have a sailboat.

Another lamination technique is ply/cork/ply. I built the turret of T047
using this method. Basically, you glue a sheet of 1/4" cork on a sheet of
1/32" plywood. Once dried, this is bent around a form (ply on the inside)
and a second sheet of ply is glued to the outside. Once dry, the part
I can see this is going to get technical so let me head it off at the past.
Rule Proposal:
Any weapon system that does not utilize a closed breach are considered
one-shot weapons. Examples:

As far as I know, nothing has matured yet as no changes have been
implemented, only discussions. And discussions have been going on regarding
these subjects since 2000. Before taking any more credit, I'd suggest

It's a tank with a main gun of under 70mm so would get 30 rounds. As to
production, they only built 22 of the PII J's so that's setting the bar
pretty low. Don't see why a production of 15 wouldn't suffice?

Maybe some sort of width allowance could be given to the WW1 tanks. They
were built to cross trenches where a longer and narrower design was
advantagious. I wouldn't mind shooting at and extra wide FT-17 or 1914,
that is after I've finished off that PII squadron! ;-)

I haven't had a set of SLA's give decent performance past two years. I
figure the factors of over-discharging, bouncing around in the tank, and the
cheap Chinese batteries I've been using have attributed to this. This last
battle I bit the bullet and purchased a better quality of SLA's so will
Four Headway LifePO4 38120S cell's in series will give you a 13v 10ah pack
for $60.

I decided I was spending to much time with WOT and unloaded from my PC.
Started fleshing out a design for a T-70 light in my head and on the
computer. Trying to think of a way to do a TTS kit in laser-cut ply.

- Radio Shack rock crawler toy
- Cardboard box covering the rock crawler with a Stug III drawn on the
side in Crayon
- Kmart paintball gun duct taped to the box
- A string is tied to the gun trigger for firing
- A supply of cheap off brand alkaline batteries
A point to remember, the Hobbyking radios require a separate PC to program
them (even to make trim adjustments). Not necessarily a bad thing but the
cost of a portable PC needs to be factored in if you want to be able to make
adjustments field-side.

The MAG participation in the 2011 AWM Open House was a great success and fun
was had by all. It was great meeting those list members that made the trek

No one has made a successful DIY marker for our hobby. It's cheaper in the
long run to buy a commercial marker. Do yourself a favor and forget about
DIY markers.

Scooter controllers are controlled by a standard 5K potentiometer. It would
be easy enough to fabricate some form of connection between a servo and the
pot.

The RAM II and Lowe are popular because you can buy them (no experience
required).
Good to see your up to a medium, not that it wasn't fun having you tag along

I just got my T-34-85 upgraded to the high velocity 85mm gun this morning.
Looking forward to putting more
controller
relays would effect the scooter controller (if at all).
I'd consider the described setup as halfway between on/off and a full blown
proportional mixing ESC.

he Spyder based guns is that you can
always upgrade to a better eHandle or install a mechanical. The Spyder
handles are all interchangeable.

Can the C12C be configured to PWM a Crydom D1D40 SSR, or even better, an
opto isolated n-channel MOSFET (diy SSR)?
Not that the Chinese controllers aren't bad, but I've taken one apart and
was a bit dubious of build quality.
