Hi Jason,
This pairing should work fine. There is an open loop setting for the
Homegrid and the flexnet can work pretty well keeping track of SOC.
I'd stick with the Outback at least initially.
The 15 cell Homegrid is lower voltage so it can work with older equipment
with 48V lbco limit easily.

It seems cheaper and better to use the grid voltage to perform this logic
to me but I may be missing something.

Hi Howie,
I would ask the AHJ and indicate you are simply reinstalling the system,
not reengineering anything.
I wouldn't take it for granted that the mounting hardware will be usable,

I had a similar issue once with a Sol-Ark 12k, triple stack. The issue
ended up being that the phase relationship got reversed during the
installation. AC out and AC in need to be carefully phased out. I don't

Let us know what you find.
Hi Amos,
What input mode are you using?
Try switching to "support" mode and see if the charging current increases.

Mick,
I'll vouch that the Victron solution works great. You need a GSM carrier,
TMobile works as well as others, AT for one. The GSM piece is important,
Verizon won't work with this.
Another approach is to do a Mifi box with Verizon, then just use it as a

Hi Kris,
When the BMS suddenly blocks charge, the voltage will spike up if the
charger can't respond quickly enough.
You may try to decrease charge voltage slightly. This same affect can cook
an alternator in a vehicle as well. Higher end BMS systems can shunt
current to mediate this.

Yes, this is a loose connection coupled with no way to detect and respond
to the Arc fault. It doesn't have to be loose on that conductor on a
common bus, any bad connection can build up heat and melt conductors.

that are effective at
keeping this from happening? All connections are good and tight and triple
checked. Anyway to remotely clear these faults?
Thanks

Hello Wrenches,
Is there a buck converter out there that will take a fluctuating input
voltage of ~160V down to about 24V? I need about 200-300W
Thanks!

Hi Wrenches,
Does anyone know if it's possible to over current an grundfos sq flex pump?
It looks like it has a current limit of 10A but if more than 10A is
available won't it just maximize pump speed?
Thanks

Hey Wrenches,
Does anyone know where to get the latest firmware for the Sunny Webbox?
The product is long gone but we are trying to enable Modbus for
communication with the Namaka box (blue Ion).
Thanks in advance!

Hi Allan,
I suggest finding a local long-standing generator technician and see if
they can help provide the generator. We see so many generators bought
online with no way to get service because there are no local and qualified
service technicians to service that brand. If you buy from a local
or tile
replacement or other? Any advantages to specific brands?
Thanks!
