I cannot remotely connect to my Redhat 6.0 server.
Mgetty answers, starts ppp but the window 95 dialup networking stays at
verifying username and password window. I have tried many different ways
to get this to work. I have enabled the /AutoPPP/- a_ppp /usr/sbin/pppd

files go, plus the Apache HTML files and ftp stuff by default. It's nice to

If you learn from the packaging that a modem requires Windows, MMX or a
Pentium class CPU then it's probably a Winmodem, IMO.
I avoid the entire issue by getting external modems -- I use Zoom because they

I choose external modems because I can avoid the magik Win(choose version)
disappearing peripheral problem with plug&won't play. Additional
Matrix Millennium G200 uses the MGA driver in the XF86_SVGA xserver. I don't
