What kind of file system is windows using? I don't believe you can
recognize NTFS file systems yet. You can make a VFAT partition on the
windows drive, move the files your are interested in onto that partition
and mount it in linux.

According to this latest advisory, the PAMAuthenticationViaKbdInt bug
could be a problem IF and ONLY IF it's enabled.
I checked both 7.3 and 7.2, PAMAuthenticationViaKbdInt is disabled by
default. This was openssh-3.1p1-3 and openssh-3.1p1-2, respectively. Both
