You should doube-check some cgi scripts You have on your machine to prevent more attacks coming from that person, if his ip static, try to block it from firewall!. But be carefull when blocking other's ip. Some apache logs, have some IIS infected machine's that probe's for other IIS Server's too.

Bad packet length in SSH

Hey, I am using Red Hat 7.2 with openssh-3.1p1-6. This morning I ssh'd in to look at Apache logs. I was using tac and then I got an error saying: Disconnecting: Bad packet length -1846728063. I tried again and this happened again. What is this problem indicitive of? Thanks! -- Kevin
