Hello all,
Just did a fresh install of 7.0 and am having problems
generating a new sendmail.cf. I do have the sendmail-cf rpm
installed but, when I try to use m4 to generate the new
sendmail.cf I get an error saying command not found.
[root@pc139 mail]# m4 /etc/mail/sendmail.mc >
/etc/send

You can do virtusertable in Sendmail...just move the virtual domain/user
entries into /etc/mail/virtusertable, run "makemap hash virtusertable <
virtusertable", and make sure your sendmail.cf file has the appropriate
pointer to the virtusertable, and run "service sendmail restart".

In /etc/aliases, I've setup something like
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:user
The trouble is that when somebody sends something to [EMAIL PROTECTED],
the address is expanded to [EMAIL PROTECTED], which isn't really

Hi,
I am fairly new to
redhat, and am having a problem with my sendmail setup. It works fine when
sending mail from the local network to any email address, and when connecting
via another ISP I can check email, and send mail, but only to other accounts
within the domain. Any email sent t

All mail gets stored, I can retrieve info about the number and size of the
messages but cannot get it.

Hi,
I got a little problem with sendmail :

either...

It is set up the following way :

Hosts :
ftp.blabla.com

message and at others it does not. Just a few minutes ago I tried to send a
message and it timed out. I quickly move to the Linux box and this is the
