Go to the directory, /etc/rc.d/rc3.d and change the S??sendmail to
s??sendmail and it will not load on bootup.

First off, never use root for anything other than doing admin work.
as root, type "adduser " This creates a new account directory,
copies the files from the /etc/skel directory for defaul shells and such,
and in RH creates a user group and assigns the new accout to it ( same

My dialin server has no trouble with win95 clients but mac's logon ok
using freeppp then just hang after their IP number has been issued. Has
anybody had this problem ? I,m using RH5, ppp2.3.3, Kernel 2.0.33.

I could send mails from my Linux (RH 2.0.32) but could not receive them. The

554 MX list for vins.ml.org (my domain) points back to pcnet.co.nz (my ISP)
