As I remember, the MCR100 is a motorcycle radio ... I have the
Motorola Manual here 68P81021E65 ... the internal system picture
looks like a trunk-mount version of a Mocom-35 to me.
Model numbers include M33DFA with various variations for sufficies.
Uses a K1040A Resonator (similar to
I had access to a Motorola MSR2000 some time back. The only way
/\/\ would ship it was at 75 watts output ... the station license
said 20 watts.
The PA deck consisted of one PA transistor & associated microstrip
circuitry driving three more in paralle. Bypassing the three and

The term NMO was created by Larsen Electronics a number of years
ago ... meaning New MOtorola ...
The mount you are referring to is the Motorola TAB/TAC/TAD/TAE/TAF
Series mounts - the last letter is determined by the frequency band
of antenna you are planning to use.

If you trying to tie two Micor Stations together, follow the
Motorola Base and Repeater Stations, Control and Applications
Manual 68-81025E60 carefully.
We did that here and it works flawlessly.
As I remember, takes 5 wires to complete it successfully.

problem with the connectors used between the Main Circuit board and
the Interconnect Board. The permanent fix was to swapout the
connectors on the Interconnect Board.

Hey Mike, you are probably old enough to remember when JJ Glass
had a surplus bin of old / used vacuum tubes. I think it was the
5D21 (???) that had solid gold grids. I think there is one of
those in my garage. You can tell the grids are gold as they
aren't tarnished.

In analog, you can still receive a weak signal ... some snow but
still watchable.
Digital TV will allow to watch either a completely readable signal
