I changed to our secondary internal serve without any luck, and then to an outside server (ns2.mindspring.com), which also returned the same error message (with DNS IP identified appropriately). Like before, I was able to manually nslookup to both of these servers successfully. As the box running

Just a guess... Does the address that you specify in the SA settings correspond to a real mailbox on your mail server? If not, then it could be that your smtp server is accepting the mail for delivery but the destination server is doing a reverse lookup and finding that the mail account doens't e
