What form is the sulfur in? If it is hydrogen sulfide, which smells like rotten eggs, then that is pretty poisonous. The well up at our ranch has loads of iron and sulfur. Found a way to take them both out that works extremely well if you are interested, and increases the pH to slightly above 7

If there is a hole in the drum, the H2O2 could make it into the inner ear. I have no information on what problems this would cause directly, but even water in the inner ear can be a problem. Also the evolved oxygen could conceivably increase inner ear pressure so that it could rupture the drum.
