Mineral imbalance, and/or dehydration. Take a calcium/magnesium supplement (1,000 mg calcium 500 mg magnesium, I take the solaray brand from Amazon), and 99 mg of potassium daily. Make sure you are hydrated before going to bed. If you still have them theraworx seems to help also. Marshall

All good information although in my case I've had to take so much Magnesium that it causes loose stool, like just water. That means Dehydration which also increases cramps. Drinking lots of water doesn't help with dehydration unless you also take the three most common electrolytes: Salt,

You can deal with them with a product called J Kloss Anti Spasmodic Compound from Herbalist & Alchemist  https://www.herbalist-alchemist.com/shop-products/formulas-a-z/j---l/klc-j-kloss-anti-spasmodic-compound I've done all the minerals and still get them occasionally and this definitely helps.

Whenever I wake with a cramp (about once a month, usually my foot or big toe), I limp into my kitchen and fix myself a glass  of  a product called calm. 2 teaspoons contains 325 mg of magnesium and it gets rid of the cramp within 5 minutes. I really rely on this product . Best regards, David
