Hi,
After reading a post on diatomaceous earth I decided to purchase some and try
it for silica supplementation and parasite removal.
My question is, is food grade diatomaceous the same grade as is used for
feeding animals and livestock? I read not to use the aquarium or pool filter
grade

Hi Richard and Ian,
I live in southern Spain, and the best distilled water I have been able to find
(through trial and error, using a Hanna meter) is the de-ionised distilled
water they sell at the gas station stores. On the label it says it can be used
in labs for analyses, etc. so I figure
All that is sold here is DE with insecticides in it. I get straight
food grade DE but have to mail order it.

To post,
Garnet bringing up parasite cleanses got me to thinking. I was researching DE
(diatomaceous earth) before I purchased some to kill ants. Evidently it's good
for people and animals and helps kill parasites in the body (or so I read).
I'm not quite sure how that's accomplished as the DE must
The colloidal researchers of the late 19th century and
early 20th centuries routinely de-ionized mixtures of
particulates and ions (like LVDC EIS) by a standard
method, the Graham dialyzer, using a bottle with its
bottom cracked off. I presume a bottle was used

Go to the grocery store and you will find it as it is used in steam irons and it
