Hi, some guy in OSBC forum told me this issue was well documentd in the SIPX
mailing list. SIPX always replies with a registration interval that is smaller
than the one requested by the UA. If the US does not adhere to the lesser
interval by re-registering, then it will become unregistered for

You want to map whatever your incoming call presents to this user.
Whether or not you want those others also to go there depends on the

Scott,
So I would want to map extension 100, 0 and "operator" to this user?
Is the trick here to then forward back to the autoattendant with a
different extension number for the non business hours times?
Is it possible to preserve the original caller id on the forward?
Thanks,

Hello,
We are currently using an out of office receptionist. When an external
party calls our main number (or presses 0 for the operator) I need to
send the call to the external number of the receptionist (10 digit).
This external forward should take place based on a time of day rule -

Hi Dale,
thanks. The steps you suggested work for me. At least for VM notification.
I will test alarms soon.
What about having in sipxconfig the possibility to specify a SMTP relay
and authentication data if needed?
Thanks again

I used sipnet sometime ago.
As far as I remember, User-Agent field in the Invite from sipnet showed
"ComminuGatePro".
But I don't know if sipnet accepts connections from business customers...

I have just upgrade to 4.0 and am having issues receiving VM properly. I

If you are using an unmanaged phone you can just skip the phone

If you still wanna try it, the sipxconfig.properties is the file you need to
change.
I think the lines you need to remove are:
1. locationsMigrationTrigger.hostname
2. sipImpl.hostIpAddress
3. sipImpl.proxyPort
4. sipImpl.hostName
5. sipImpl.proxyHost
They might be shown at the end

thank you for your answer.
I can't see that it's working like you said.
After adding a user I choose Phone. Than I can add new phone from the list or
add an existing phone.
Where should I configure a phone manally.

As far as I understand, there is no need to 'add unmanaged phone'.
Just configure a user with number, name, password, etc.
Then configure the phone manually.
