The positioning of the 3-position switch on all cheaper commercial radios is lousy. At least with JR/Graupner MC-18/20/24s and Multiplex 3030/4000s you can position any switch where is feels most comfortable. Better still (if you can get used to flying with fingers AND thumbs - which I cannot) you

I used to own a 7UAFS "Super 7" (the US equivelent of the FF7, I believe). It will handle a flaperoned sailplane, and v-tail and elevon quite well. The primary limitations are the 4 model memory and (in the UAFS) the inability to do more complex stuff like Crow and full span camber mixing on a
