Subject: [RCSE] Nylon metric screws
Does anyone know of a source for nylon metric screws and
I'm shortly to commence building (Assembling?) a Multiplex Alpina
4001, my first 4m ship. I have the uncovered version which has an
option for double-blade airbrakes. The aircraft also has crow brkaing
avalible via flap/aileron of course.
I've only read one flight review of the Alpina, and
when i cut epp with my feather cut i always get a good cut on the big
chord side and a wavy cut on the small chord
the wire doesn't move fast enough on the small template and it burns
big groves.
any ideas?

The
late F1 models did not go 200 mph. Current Q40 models can do 170 mph
on a straight line flight. They do not race in a straight line
though. The fastest (and well piloted)cover2.5 miles in about
one minute. You can do the math. Regis

I agree with Bill, I have several exchanges that I subscribe to and
sometimes I'll see the reply to a very interesting subject without ever
seeing the original post. RCSE is not the service that appears to hit by
this and it is very frustrating. It has to be info terrorism.

Ok, I have been practicing this stupid trick for a while, and since I have
never seen or heard of anyone else doing it, I thought I would brag and show
off and make a posting about it here.
On a decent wind day here at the blowhole on Maui, I can now consistently
land my DAW Me109 by hovering it

I prefer to catch my foamies, then immediately swat them to the ground.
Look at that technique!

Here is a previous post of mine if it helps, I like spoilers for
dethermalizing and glide path control, less ballooning and you have normal
aileron deflection till touch down. very important with high aspect ratio
ships with slow roll rates. I would be leary of full crow on such a thin non
The original question applied to an Alpina 4001, this is a nonscale german
plane not intended for spot landing or any other "tasks" it is a thermal
"scale" like ship which actually shared wings with the now defunct Multiplex
ASW-22 4 meter ship.
In the full scale world spoilers are used primarily
