Play it Again Sports sells the clear hockey tape really cheap, like $1 a
roll? I use it as hinge tape on all my foamies, and on each side of the
tape joint on my 3 piece wings.
Then I use colored 3M Decorate and Repair vinyl tape (spelled: Electrical
Tape) to tape the gap where the wing panels

OK, here's my question for the day. I have a Futaba 9ZAW. I have it
installed in a scale ASW-27 that has flaps (2 servos), ailerons (2 servos),
and spoilers (2 servos - Y'd together).
Flaps work off the left slider. BUT, ALL the flap movement occurs between
the slider all the way up and the

What tape do you flyers of multi piece wings recommend for

What's best?
I see some pilots hold the Tx head-level, real close, to make precise
stick movements.
Hey now,
That's more to shield my eyes from the sun, the smitter works well
to shade my eyes and let me see both the stick movement and the plane.
Most everyone else can hold it chest level.

Bill,
Understand you frustration, I run into the same type problems with my 8U but
thankfully Don Edberg's book makes up for a lot of the shortcomings of the
Futaba Manual. Too bad he doesn't do a book on the 9Z. Was seriously
considering the 9Z until a conversation with Jack Strother about

I have yet to fly a glider, I have gotten my transmitter so I'm ready to
choose a plane.
Looking for something that ends up close to $100 since I have a feeling I
may need

OK - this is a good forum.
Don't use E-Z connectors cause they unscrew and fall apart.
Don't use ball links cause they come apart or the nut falls off.
Don't use Z bends cause they are sloppy.
Those are the only choices as far as I know, so what do we use?
