Wow - what a pickle. I for one am sorry to see what happened - all that
bandwidth - and I will keep every bit of my self-righteousness to myself

Hi Tripp,
I fly blimps at the America West Arena in Phx for the NHL Coyotes. We currently have a
22' Toyota Seqouya, (roughly $40,000) a 17'
Coke bottle, ($30,000) and a 16' conventional blimp, ($16,000). They are a handful to
fly with the air currents and obstacles.

that the results are comparable to what I achieved with epoxy, so long as I

Working on a low aspect ratio 2M with a root chord of 15.375.
Center panel (where the spoiler will be) is flat and 20.5 span.
I'm not sure what you mean by optimum.
The bigger the spoiler and the farther forward it is,

Actually the Bosch motors suck for making winches. The fords had two
good features for making cheap winches. 1) the relatively long shaft
that you could mount a short drum on. 2) Built-in mounts that can bolt
to a simple plate.
The Bosch motors require machining a motor mount. The shaft is
