All it means is that if you like to use the flap lever like an on/off
switch on approach to a spot landing, you will almost certainly let the
big flaps slow you down too much, and you will land short of the
spot. But if you are careful to establish the correct glide angle
with perhaps 1/3 flap,

I have been using a Sony DSC-P9 for several years now, all the photography
coverage for the Soaring Nats issue of Model Aviation for the past 3 years
has been done with this camera. It fits in my pocket so I always have it
with me, and I get the shots other might not.

The 8700 is a nice camera but it still has one major flaw in that it still has
shutter lag. That makes it more difficult yet not impossible to get good high
speed action shots. Other than that, it is a very nice camera.

While in SoCal in August I found a website that listed a whole bunch of
slope sites along the SoCal coast. Unfortunately I can't find the website
anymore and the one on the Inland Slope Rebel site doesn't list some of the
slopes that we flew at: Redondo Beach, Palos Verdes, and Airport

the ailerons go up. I've been looking at ways to
do this but can't seem to find the way??

A friend of mine (Bruce Hobbs) has been helping me set up a open-class
sailplane using the JR 9303. The problem we accoutered is how to inhibit
the thumb sliders on each side of the transmitter. With the available 5
flight modes, it was decided the throttle stick would be used for the
camber.
I don't use camber sliders. I always use presets.
Have you tried reflex? Do you have to make the aileron travel go to 150%
for reflex to work properly? I always make sure that I have travels set so
that camber moves the entire TE evenly. Either through increasing travel or
increasing the mix ra
