I recently purchased a couple slope planes (composite wings/fiberglass
fuselage). The Shrike from Sky King R/C Products is a cool slope plane with
pivot wings (pitcheron). The second plane is the Snipe C that also has
pivot wings (wingerons) and it is still listed on Northeast Sailplanes
website.
Does anyone have a current e-mail address for Jochen Luetke?
Thanks!

Do you have one in a closet or under your bench
that you would like to sell? I'm a buyer if you have one.

To get an 8 ounce wing loading, you'll need a 20 ounce airframe, which is
actually too light for One Design airframes. At 25 ounces it comes in at 10
ounces/ft.sq. At the MWSC, we fly with the 25-35 ounce rules so the FUN
comes out right at the minimum.
I did make one for myself that had some
The FUN comes out at 23-25 ounces RTF unless you do something serious to the
wings like bag full carbon under the sheeting. That of course would defeat
the purpose of One Design.
You are right though, they do fly in fairly light lift when kept light. gv

Good suggestion. Just keep it light. I'd expect a loading of 8 would be a
reasonable goal. Even less would be better if acheivable.
Most 60" slope racers fly very well at low wing loadings. Better than what
most would expect. Along with ballasted for big wind, too. Their wide r

Title: Canopies for sale
I have a couple of those simple canopies; you know the ones that are a tarp with 4 poles and guy lines. They are both in pretty good condition. One is green and I don’t think it’s been used and the blue one has an easily repairable tear at one corner. $30 shipped f

The plane can fly in light 7-10 and with a little ballast, handle up to 30

With Fall around the corner, I've been looking for a slope ship. I have
some nice slope wings, but I want something more conventional looking -
foamie or other.
I've been considering something like a Mini-Nyx or a Prodij, but I was
also looking at the 60" slope racer from Steve Drake. I'm really
I make claim to the wing rod. That is if it is not all rusty.

Hello to everyone.
I am looking for an Emerald Wing, just need the RIGHT side but would
consider the complete wing. Minor repairable damage OK. Prefer the right
side with White Top / Red Bottom. Thanks for the help.

Hi all,
I pulled out an old Schulze controller yesterday for an electric event,
and I could not get it to work. It's basically an MCD-99, future 88.
Back in the shop, I found it would only work with a receiver battery,
but I swear I have used this in a BEC setup on 8 cells.
If you've used this s
