Futaba may offer a logging device, but it will not be needed with this

I completely agree with Simon, Klaus and others that skegs are crutches for most of us who can't land without them on the ridiculous runways for lawn darts often used in major US contests.
We should adopt the FAI landing rules in US duration contests and forget skegs. Small (~1" high, 1/4" wide r
I just installed HS 85MGs to replace 14 noisy and sometimes intermittent (in four different sailplanes) JR 341 and 351s which had been returned to JR and were returned to me with the $100+ bill as in good condition. These servos were just as noisy and intermittent after this expensive service.

It is absolutely bunk that the Stratos SL has any structural weaknesses. We have been flying seven of them for up to two years with no structural wing or V-tail failures on launch. This sailplane is an excellent AMA thermal duration competitor. It also has a great speed range for flying c

The Stratos SL (V-tail) is the best with winds from 0 to 35 mph where I have seen it dominate. Of course some contest expert flyers can win with anything, even an old boyfriend's reject (Barbara Henon)or a fomie (Joe). Some of us can manage to lose flying Stratos SLs too.
