Thanks to Spacehead, we found that the supplied sox in the lms
Bin/x86_64 is not working.
As it seems to mis libgomp.so.1 file, which is used by ffmpeg.
As it`s a file which comes with the LMS release, they should fix it. (
report a issue on the git website )
But due to this, some playback will n
right, and only can read directory and file with 0775.

There is something wrong, with you're Qnap, Perl is ELF64/64 bits.
And this error on you're system should be fixed.
As that's says it ELF32/32 bits,
/usr/bin/perl: error while loading shared libraries: libnsl.so.1: wrong

Compiling/make perl from source on a Qnap systems is a big problem.

Yes it sure is, not a big deal making it working on you're own Qnap.
But keeping in mind, it should also work on other Qnap devices is a big

Oke tested stoping Qnap-lms from app-store, and strange give the error.
So this will needs attenion to solve.
Strangely enough Qnap-LMS is stopped.
So for now i need to do some investigation on this subject, and this

For earthbase, install v1.02 and not the beta ver

Have a look, you can even controle al the options for the startup of
LMS.
For example i use noupnp, nodebuglog, noinfo, noimage, novideo and

I was think about youŕe installation trouble.
And remember was running in to the same trouble a few months ago.
I my case the trouble was gzip from optware.
So are you running a optware/entware or something like that.
If so disable it before installing QLogitechMediaServer.

You can only copy the cache and prefs directory, when you first do
./LogitechMediaServer.sh stop.
Then copy the directory, and the ./LogitechMediaServer.sh start.
Never copy those while LMS is running, it will make it crash.
The other error has to do with you available space, know where the error
Thats strange, there is a lib file which does not has the good arch.
Could you do file /lib/libnsl.so.1 ?
If correct will point to another file, and then do file with the name of
that file.

Suggestion, remove QLogitechMediaServer through appstore.
Then reboot your're Qnap and do a clean install.
Wait until its ready, and then do logon to you're Qnap by ssh shell.
The [ cd /share/*/.qpkg/LogitechMediaServer ] and the [

A very strange problem, as with pidof it give a number.
Could you try the following [ ps | grep [L]ogitech ]
Also strange it seems the perl can run if you do perl -V.
You don't have anything else installed which is using poort 9001

Looked on it this morning, and yes it comes from the LMS packets
itself.
Strangly enough i use the same perl i686 on my QNap, no trouble no
errors.
I uses the i686 perl version, because it needs less memory then the
x86_64 perl version.

Qnapfan we think the same, yes he has sudo by optware. As he also gets
the messages from renice, which came apart of QTS after version 4.3.
Does mather know now where the things go wrong.

Just for testing could you do ./LogitechMediaServer.sh stop.
Then from LogitechMediaServer directory do chown -R squeezeboxserver
SlimServer/, and chmod -R 0755 SlimServer/
After this try ./LogitechMediaServer.sh start

Oke could you now do thing to make it work, i believe you did chown -R
admin SlimServer/.
Then ./LogitechMediaServer.sh start.
If it now it start, could you show me the last part of
LogitechMediaServer.log.

If it symlinked to /opt ?
If so just do rm /opt.
Would not remove the optware, as you properly uses for other things.
In my case i have Optware-NG enabled and running on /opt, and no trouble
at all.

We found the problem, the old optware is messing up youŕe system.
I would suggest to remove it from the appstore, and install a proper
Optware solution.
The thing i learned from this is, not to let the script not use any
other program then those supplied by Qnap.

Yes i know already pointed it out to them.
Asked why they set it on /opt, as they could do the same as i do symlink
it to /usr/local and /usr/bin.
But they don't understand why, but i think /opt is for a optware
solution not any thing else.
Also many other apps, symlink to the /opt directory, that
